The Community Health Alliance Foundation powers that mission forward, rallying community support to ensure everyone has a chance at a healthier, brighter future.

Founded in 2012, Community Health Alliance is a nonprofit, federally qualified health center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable, and comprehensive health care to individuals and families across Northern Nevada. With a mission to serve our community, CHA operates six health centers and three mobile clinics, offering a wide range of services including:

  • Primary medical care for all ages
  • Pediatric care and immunizations
  • Dental services
  • Behavioral and mental health support
  • Pharmacy and lab services
  • Women’s health and prenatal care
  • Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders
  • Nutrition education and prescription food pantry programs

CHA is committed to health equity and access, working to remove barriers such as cost, transportation, and language to ensure that everyone can live a healthier life—regardless of income, insurance status, or background.

The Community Health Alliance Foundation exists to support and advance the mission of CHA by raising awareness and philanthropic support. The Foundation helps fund vital health care programs and services, innovative pilot projects, capital improvements, and patient assistance efforts that are not always covered by insurance or public funding.

Key Foundation priorities include:

​

  • Supporting maternal and child health initiatives

  • Expanding access through mobile health services

  • Enhancing behavioral health integration

  • Funding the prescription food pantry and nutrition programs

  • Advancing health equity and outreach in vulnerable communities
     

Through grants, corporate partnerships, individual donations, and community events, the Foundation bridges the gap between need and access—ensuring CHA can continue to serve as a health care safety net for thousands of Nevadans each year.
